Make friends, grow in your faith, impact UT Arlington

Baptist Student Ministry is a great place to make friends and grow in your faith at UT Arlington.  We are a large, friendly, active, diverse Christian campus ministry.  Our “home” is the BSM building on the UTA campus where we have events every week.

BSM exists to encourage UT Arlington students to become lifelong followers of Jesus.  Our mission is to equip students to reach our campus and the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ.  We value learning God’s word, the Bible, and applying it to our lives. We want to help you build meaningful friendships and get involved in a local church.

WideAwake: Worship & Bible Study
Tuesdays at 8pm
UT Arlington University Center

  • WideAwake Kickoff: August 30 in Palo Duro Lounge

  • September, October and November in Rosebud Theater

WideAwake is more than just a Bible study.  First, we worship together with the WideAwake band, then gather in smaller groups to learn and grow together.   Joining a small group gives you an opportunity to meet new people and strengthen your faith in God.  These groups study the Bible and discuss how it applies to everyday life.  If you want to grow closer to God and learn how to live an active and effective Christian life, then come to WideAwake!

We are easy to find

The Baptist Student Ministry is conveniently located on the UTA campus at 414 S. West Street. We’re the brick building directly across the street from the University Center (Starbucks and Mav Express), and next door to the Tri-C Building. Our building is open Monday-Friday. You can come to meet friends, study, play pool, ping pong, or foosball. Please join us at any and all of our regularly scheduled events
